With MultiLedger version 7.0 & higher, once you close a year, you no longer have the ability to see that year on the comparison reports. You need to keep your prior year open in order to have the ability to get current year to prior year comparison reports.

Version 7.0 & higher has doubled the number of months you can have open. You can now work with 30 months (2-1/2 years) open. Example: If I leave 2007 open, I will have all of 2007, all of 2008 and 6 months into 2009 open. So I don’t need to close 2007 until I need to start making entries in my 7th month of 2009.

Note:When you converted your files to 7.0 & higher, it re-opened the prior year balances you had closed in order to have the ability to get current year to prior year comparison reports.
