This could be one of two things:
1. When you view or print the General Ledger report, you are selecting a specific date. If there is activity in the cash account with a date after the specified date from the General Ledger report, the Disbursements and Receipts Journals will reflect that activity, thus making the balances different.
2. Check to make sure the cash account assigned on Interface Accounts wasn’t changed. The account selected on Interface Accounts is what appears in the Disbursements and Receipts Journals for cash and will reflect the balance of the selected account.
