Please try the following:
• Open the 18.0.4 Payroll and go under File to Database Manager.
• Click Create New Database and create a new database – you can save the New database in the same folder as the old one, but name it different, or save it in a completely different folder- user choice.
• Use the Restore feature in the program to restore the most recent auto backup into the new database autobackups should be in the CheckMark folder on your hard drive. Path:
Hard Drive/CheckMark/Payroll/2018/_Backups/_Auto_Backups/
If you get a message saying the restore was successful, it might be slow to open as it’s trying to rebuild the database. If you have multiple companies in a database, it may take longer.
