- Launch your CheckMark Payroll program. If you have a company data set open, Select File and Close Company.
- Select File then Find Company.
- If applicable, select the Search Network drives check box. Click the Find button. The payroll program will search your hard drive, and any network drives if selected, for all the payroll data sets and then display each set in this Find window.
- Once the list is displayed, select the item you wish to delete and click the Delete button at the bottom of the screen. Only one item at a time can be selected.
- Repeat steps 2-4 as necessary.
CAUTION: Deleted data sets cannot be restored without a backup of the data set. Before deleting files from the hard drive of your computer, or your network, be sure that you have a working backup archive to restore if necessary in the future. Restore instructions are available in your user manual under Help or in the Restoring a backup article in this Knowledge Base.
