Forms 941, 943 and 944 all report federal taxes to the IRS. Your business determines which form the IRS requires you to submit. All these forms report federal withholding, Social Security and Medicare taxes.
To set up an Employer Payee to create payments for federal taxes
- Open Employer Payees window on the Command Center.
- Select New.
- Enter Payee Name. OK.
- Fill in other payee information and select Federal Taxes radio button under Type of Payment.
- Save.
When creating payments, you will select the payee with the FED type.
