In Windows 2000 and higher, you will need to click Start, open Control Panel and open Printers. Right click on your printer and choose Properties. Check the paper size in Printing Preferences. You may need to set up a custom paper size. (In Windows XP and Vista, you can open Printers in the Control Panel, select the default printer then choose Select Printing Preferences). See Tech Note about setting up a custom paper size.
The program does not have a printer driver built into it, so relies on the settings of the default printer. If you need to change your default printer, right click on the printer you want to select as your new default printer and choose ‘Set as Default Printer‘.
If these steps do not fix the problem, try deleting the printer driver on your system and reloading the printer driver. You may want to visit the printer manufacturer’s website and download the most current driver for your printer and your operating system. Once the driver is reloaded, check the above items again and try printing your checks.
