You need to define the hourly rate to be used in calculating each hour category in the Hour Categories Setup screen. Learn more to set up a new hour category.

When naming the hour category, keep in mind the job/shift that you will be using it for to pay your employees such as: Swing, or Night, or simply PayRate2.

Enter the rate of pay in the Wages View Mode of the Employee Setup screen for each employee that you will be using this hour category for.
