If a change in the format to W-2’s or W-3 occurs, you will need to reset the default format in the updated payroll program in order to see this change in format take place.
To reset the format in versions 7.7.x or higher, open the W-2/W-3 statements screen, select the W-2 on pre-printed forms option, hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard, select Edit Format, keeping the SHIFT key down until the format window comes up. Close the format window and Save changes when prompted. Repeat the steps for the W-3 on pre-printed forms format.
